About Centi At Centi, we’re on a mission to make equity ownership simple. We build software for private equity funds and their portfolio companies to manage cap tables, incentive programmes and corporate actions. Our product sits at the intersection of legal complexity, financial precision, and human trust. Edge cases are common and errors have serious consequences, making this a challenging engineering problem. We combine deep domain expertise with automation and AI to make that complexity easier to manage.
About the role
We’re a team of 14, including five engineers, based in Stockholm. We’re looking for a senior product engineer who can independently lead substantial work and help shape both our product and how we build it.
You’ll own features end to end: helping define the problem, exploring solutions, making technical decisions, and taking your work through deployment and iteration. You’ll work closely with product and domain experts, and sometimes directly with customers. There’s room to make decisions and colleagues to work through ideas with when you want another perspective.
A major part of the role will be building AI-driven workflows that change how we handle customer requests and carry out ownership-related work. This means deciding where agents can act reliably, where human review is needed, and how to make the whole workflow useful in practice.
What you’ll do
Help define problems and shape solutions alongside product, operations, and domain experts.
Design and build features end to end in our TypeScript-first stack.
Build AI workflows that help our operations team handle customer requests and prepare actions for review.
Own technical planning, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
Improve our architecture, data model, and tooling as the product grows.
Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor thoughtfully, taking responsibility for the quality of what you ship.
Help shape our engineering practices and company culture.
In practice, you might build workflows that draft transactions from legal documents alongside our senior legal expert Isabel, improve the valuation engine with our CEO George, or develop our operations agent, which triages incoming customer questions and requests for our operations team and prepares draft actions when it can do so reliably.

Experience with every part of our stack is not required, but a strong foundation in TypeScript and full-stack development is.
Who you are
You have substantial experience building modern web applications with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
You can independently lead features, from an open-ended problem to a working solution.
You care about what a feature should do and why, as well as how it’s built.
You enjoy working through complex domains and care about correctness, maintainability, and user trust.
You’re interested in building reliable AI-powered products and apply new tools with curiosity and sound judgment.
You take ownership of your work and enjoy collaborating with colleagues across disciplines.
