The need for a new way of working came from our founders, Jacob and George, personal experiences in private equity. They saw how the many manual, time-consuming, and insecure processes held businesses back. Frustrated by the administrative hurdles in managing employee equity programs, they envisioned a smarter way forward. That’s why they created Centi—to simplify ownership, empower businesses, and make equity management something everyone can embrace with confidence.

Global private capital is one of the world’s largest asset classes, managing over EUR 16 trillion in assets. Yet, much of this capital is still trapped in outdated, fragmented infrastructure—slowing innovation and limiting efficiency.

At Centi, we are dedicated to making ownership simple. We offer automation with modular workflows, complete ownership monitoring including cap tables and legal registers as well as increased security.

We believe that ownership management should be as dynamic as the businesses it serves. Our goal is to deliver a beautiful, intuitive platform that removes friction from ownership management—so firms can focus on growth.

We work with top tier Private Equity buyout firms like Bridgepoint, CVC, EQT and Nordic Capital across multiple geographies including Nordics, DACH, the UK and more recently the US.

Centi was founded on the belief of a flat organisational structure; where decisions are made by those closest to the task at hand, each team member is empowered to drive projects from start to finish, and collaboration is integral to every step of the process.

As an intentionally small team of 8, we believe in passion, trust and autonomy to make Centi greater than the sum of its parts. We strive for simple solutions, fast iterative processes, and choosing the right people, partners and frameworks to enable us to build industry leading products.
