Centi was born from a single idea - to make ownership simple

The need for a new way of working came from our founders personal experiences of investing and managing businesses for Private Equity firms. They grew frustrated by how the fear of increased administration prevented them from making value maximising decisions when it comes to employee equity programs. The ownership data, which is used by many different stakeholders, should be managed in an effective, secure and simple way. It should be enjoyable to invite employees to an equity program and it should be enjoyable to make that investment as an employee. To accomplish this, you need a software that is fast and of the highest quality - maximising simplicity and convenience without compromising on security.

Centi was founded on the belief of a flat organisational structure; where decisions are made by those closest to the task at hand, each team member is empowered to drive projects from start to finish, and collaboration is integral to every step of the process. As an intentionally small team of 9, we believe in passion, trust and autonomy to make Centi greater than the sum of its parts. We strive for simple solutions, fast iterative processes, and choosing the right people, partners and frameworks to enable us to build industry leading products.

Our stack

With Typescript as our first language we build modern scalable applications using frameworks such as Next.js, Inngest and TRPC. While we don’t expect you to have experience in all the platforms and frameworks we use, we do expect a solid understanding of Typescript, React and Node.js.
